A helpful addition to any ministerial library

The author, Peter Andrew Smith, is a pastor in the United Church of Canada. He has created a book of thirty-five communion prayers for use by Christian ministers, pastors and other planners of worship services.

The Communion prayers are divided into logical segments for the church year: Advent, Christmas and Epiphany; Lent and Easter; Pentecost to Christ the King; Pastoral Occasions; Seasons of the year; Life of Christ; and Prayers After Communion–making it a simple task for a pastor or minister to find the exact communion prayer for use or adaptation. Every prayer is scripturally based and can be used either as responsive readings or spoken solely by the pastor or minister leading the communion celebration.

All Things Are Ready would be a helpful addition to any ministerial library. Lay persons might consider it as gift for their own pastor or minister. The author did an excellent job in the creation of these communion prayers.
