Beginning with a computer glitch, kindergarten teacher, Liza Wilcox becomes interested in the stabbing death of another kindergarten teacher named Danielle Slammers. Out of school for the summer and curious because of the similarities between herself and the dead woman, she hops into her car along with her trusty dog and heads to Clainsworth, Oregon to learn more about the murder. Apple pots, an apple festival and a slew of intriguing town people lead Liza on a complicated and mysterious trail in her quest to find out the truth about the dead woman’s murder.
