The book is filled with the requisite adventure, challenges, action as well as romance, rounded out by the appearance of the villain, Makedon. Caenus is tested and tested again and is assisted by such heroic figures as Hermes, Aphrodite and Artemis. The author’s knowledge of Greek lore adds the needed touch of realism to this tale laced with mythology–a fantasy lover’s delight.
