It’s obvious D. H. Brown knows what he’s writing about, there’s authenticity on every exciting page. The story begins with a house fire, a decapitated body and a missing woman. Truly a book that will keep the reader turning pages until the story is done. Timely, with plot twists grabbed right from the most horrific of today’s news–and what isn’t told. The hero is someone you definitely want on your side–though he doesn’t have supernatural abilities, his senses are keen, he’s had plenty of experience to draw on, and he sees what others don’t.  The action and danger never lets up and will keep the reader turning pages.
